Practice this drill over and over again. Visualize a defender and how they react to your jab step. The jab step is about reading the defender, don’t skip the visualization!

This is also a good drill to work on at home. Even if you don’t have a basketball hoop, you can do this in your garage, your driveway, or on the sidewalk. Don’t forget to visualize the defender!
